新版本中GNOME环境更新为2.31版，这里包含了新的dconf和 gsettings API；Evolution更新至2.30，相对于Ubuntu 10.04 LTS中的版本，它的操作速度变得更快；KDE更新至当前的4.5 beta 1；Qt更新至当前的4.7 beta；Linux kernel 2.6.34。
