OpenOffice.org年会举办地尘埃落地

在openoffice.org 官方网站看到关于此次年会的消息，这是该年会第一次在欧洲以外的地方举办。

国际OpenOffice.org年会（简称“OOo年会”）是国际开源技术领域最高级别的盛会，来自世界各地的顶尖开源技术人员和中坚力量通过年会汇聚一堂，以论坛、讲座及其它互动形式，分享彼此在开源技术上的成果，倡导有效运用开源技术，提升全球软件技术水平，打破技术垄断，是一场非商业性质的技术性全球盛会。

Eligibility
Voting is open to all individuals who were registered as members of the Community on January 1st 2008.

Timetable
Voting opened on Friday 15th February and closed at midnight UTC on Friday 29th February.

The Results
The results were as follows:

Orvieto (Italy) 126
Amsterdam (The Netherlands) 62
Bratislava (Slovakia) 56
Budapest (Hungary) 50
Dundalk (Ireland) 22

So the OpenOffice.org Annual Conference 2008 has been awarded to the team proposing Beijing, China
